05.Devakarya samudyuta

Devata comes from the root 'div'. Div meaning light. Devata means one that shows the light. Devata or deva ganas are elements of our body that help and promote towards our path to liberation.

Naaram rakshoti iti rakshasah. Means one who protects life is rakshasa. Rakshasa ganas are those elements of our body that fight to rescue our life when in danger.

So both Deva ganas and rakshasa ganas have a purpose to serve and both are with in us. They don't have a physical body. But they have a meta physical body (sukshma sharira).

Devatas generate positive feelings like enthusiasm, spirit of Adventure, courage, wisdom, power and valor. Where as rakshasas generate negative feelings like fear, anger, insecurity, laxity, lazyness etc. These elements draw energy from will power based on the need of the hour and circumstances. For example, if you see a lion in front of you, you get brute power to run away from it. It is because of the fear and insecurity. You will not be able to run like that under normal circumstances. This happens because of the help from Rakshasas. Similarly, it takes a lot courage to speak truth(especially) when it leads to some immediate loss. But humans are able to do it due to help from Devatas.

Both these ganas have a tendency to suppress and dominate each other. So when rakshasas draw energy from will power, they not only fight for rescue but also suppress devaganas. They will fill the whole world around you with negativity. Similarly when devatas draw energy from will power, they will brutally suppress rakshasas and fill positivity in your life.

A crucial matter comes into play here. There will be less harm if Deva ganas stay dominant for a long time. Because they fill positivity and lead us to the path of liberation. But if rakshasas stay dominant for a long time, they will fill negativity. Life becomes hell. They are required for protection. But as soon as we are out of danger, they should fade away and let the devatas take over. But this does not happen always. Especially when rakshasas like bhandasura take charge. He will weaken all the Deva ganas immediately after taking charge and suppress them brutally. He will not let them take over again.

To rescue devatas from bhandasura, you have to pray Mother Lalitha for help. Bhandasura is no match for her mighty strength. She is 1.Srimata. 2. Srimaharajni. 3.Srimath simhaneswari. When you pray for her to kill bhandasura, she emerges from chidagni and helps you in path to liberation (Deva karya samudyuta) by killing bhandasura.
