ప్రణవము(ఓంకారము) యొక్క శిరస్సు పైనున్నదియే నాదము. ఆనందరూపమైన పరమేశ్వరి నాదరూపమున అనాహతచక్రంలో ఉన్నది. అంతర్ముఖులైన వారు దాన్ని దర్శించగలుగుతారు అని జ్ఞానులు చెబుతున్నారు.
స్వచ్ఛంద్రతంత్రంలో నాదము అనేది రోదినికి పైభాగాన ఉన్నది అని చెప్పబడింది
ఇందౌ తదర్ధం రోదిన్యాం నాదో నాదాంత ఏవ చ
బిందువు, అర్ధచంద్రము, రోదిని, ఆ తరువాత నాదము ఉన్నాయి. ఆ నాదరూపిణి అయిన పరమేశ్వరిని ధ్యానిస్తున్నాను అని చెప్పబడింది.

బిందువు, అర్ధచంద్రము, రోదిని, ఆ తరువాత నాదము ఉన్నాయి. ఆ నాదరూపిణి అయిన పరమేశ్వరిని ధ్యానిస్తున్నాను అని చెప్పబడింది.
అక్షరాలు పుట్టకముందు ఉండే స్థితి నాదము. ఆ నాదమే రూపాంతరం చెంది వర్ణాలుగా పరిణమిస్తుంది. వేదాలన్నీ నాదరూపమే. వేదమాత లలితమ్మ. కాబట్టి ఆమె నాదరూపిణీ అనబడుతుంది.
అవ్యక్తమైన పరమాత్మ శక్తిని లోకంలో వ్యక్తపరిచేది నాదమే. ఈ నాదము జగత్తునంతా ఆవరించి ఉన్నది. ఏ విషయాన్ని గ్రహించటానికైనా నాదమే ఆధారము. ఆ నాదము అమ్మ రూపము. అందుచేత నాదరూపిణీ అవుతున్నది.
Pranava means the 'Om'. Naada is its head. Divine mother is in the anaahata in the form of Naada. Learned scholars say that those who focus internally while meditation experience it.
In Swacchandatantra, It is said that Naada is above Rodini.
Indou thadardham rodhinyaam naado naadaantha evacha
Bindu, crescent moon, Rodini and then comes Naada. I salute the supreme mother who is in the form of Naada
Sound before the birth of letters is Naada. This Naada transforms into various sounds of letters. All vedas are forms of Naada. Goddess Lalitha is mother of Vedas. Hence she is called Naada roopinee
Naada is the expression of Paramaatma. It is spread in the whole universe. It is the root to understand any thing. That is Divine Mother.
