రాజులు కూర్చునే సింహాసనములయందు తనను ఆశ్రయించిన వారిని ఉంచునది. అమ్మ ఎవరినైతే అనుగ్రహిస్తుందో, వారిని బహువిధప్రజ్ఞాశాలిగ చేస్తుంది. సర్వాధికుడుగా చేస్తుంది.
చదువురానివాడు, అక్షరజ్ఞానహీనుడు, అడవిలో గొర్రెలు కాచుకునే కాళిదాసును మహాకవిగా అనుగ్రహించింది. అలాగే సింహాసనాలమీద తన యందు అచంచలమైన భక్తి విశ్వాసాలు గలవారిని అధిష్టింపచేస్తుంది. దేవేంద్రుడు తారకాసురుడు, మహిషాసురుడు, మొదలైన రాక్షసులచేత పదవీచ్యుతుడై, ఆమెను ప్రార్ధించినప్పుడు, అతని మొర ఆలకించి మళ్ళీ ఇంద్రుణ్ణి స్వర్గాధిపతిగా నియమించింది.దేవీ భాగవతంలో రాజ్యం నుంచి గెంటివేయబడిన సుదర్శనుణ్ణి మళ్ళీ రాజును చేసింది. అయోధ్యానగారానికి రాజు సూర్యవంశస్థుడైన ధృవసంధి. అతని పెద్దభార్య కుమారుడు సుదర్శనుడు. రాజు ఒకరోజు వేటకు వెళ్ళి సింహం చేతిలో హతమవుతాడు. ధృవసంధి రెండవ భార్య తండ్రి అయిన యూధాజిత్తు సుదర్శనుణ్ణి రాజ్యం నుంచి గెంటివేసి, తన మనుమడైన శత్రుజిత్తుకు పట్టాభిషేకం చేస్తాడు. సుదర్శనుడు తల్లితో సహా భరద్వాజుని ఆశ్రమం చేరి అక్కడ క్లీం బీజాన్ని జపించి తరించాడు. అప్పుడు అమ్మ కరుణ వల్ల అతడు కాశీరాజు కుమార్తె శశికళను వివాహమాడి యూధాజిత్తును ఓడించి తన రాజ్యాన్ని దక్కించుకుంటాడు. ఇదంతా పరమేశ్వరి కృపవల్లనే జరిగింది. ఈ రకంగా అనేకచోట్ల అనేకమంది భక్తులను రాజులుగా నియమించింది.
Those who pray Divine Mother get the throne of the kingdom. If Divine mother blesses someone, he/she would become multi-talented.
One can become a scholar without any form of education by her blessings. The great poet Kali dasa is the an example for this. She gives power to rule to those who have full faith in her. Devendra, who is the king of the heaven lost is power in fights with Tarakasura, Mahishasura etc. But she always helped him get back to his throne. The reason is, Devendra worships Divine Mother.
Another story in Devi Bhagavatam also explains the same aspect. There used to be a king called Dhruva sandhi in the dynasty of Suryavamsha. He is the king of Ayodhya. He has two wives. Sudarshana is the son of his elder wife. Yudhajit is the son of his younger wife. After the king's demise, Yudhajit forces Sudarshana to leave the kingdom and assigns throne to his grandson Shatrujit. Sudharsha leaves Ayodhya along with his mother and reaches the ashram of saint Bharadwaja. There he worships Divine Mother with the beeja 'kleem'. With Mother's blessings he marries the princess of Kashi and defeats Yudhajit in a war. Then he conquers Ayodhya.
Like this, Divine Mother helped her devotees conquer the power to rule in many occasions.
