890. Vishwagrasa

చరాచరజగత్తును మ్రింగివేసేది. అనగా చరములను, అచరములను సంహరించునది.

కారకములలో

యస్య బ్రహ్మ చ క్షత్రం చోభే భవతి ఓదనః

మృత్యు ర్యస్యోప సేచనం క వేద యత్ర సః ఆ పురుషునకు బ్రహ్మ క్షత్రియులు ఆహారము. మృత్యువు అతడికి నంచుకునే పదార్ధము. దీనిని ఎవరు తెలుసుకోగలుగుతారు ? చరాచరజగత్తునంతా ప్రళయకాలంలో గ్రహించునది. కాబట్టి పరమేశ్వరి విశ్వగ్రాసా అనబడుతున్నది. సృష్టిలో ఒక జీవిని ఇంకొక జీవి ఆహారంగా తీసుకుంటుంది. ఇది సాధారణన్యాయము. గడ్డి, ధాన్యాలు. వీటిని పశువులు, పక్షులు ఆహారంగా తీసుకుంటాయి. ఈ పశుపక్షులు మృగాలకు ఆహారం. మృగాలు మానవుడికి ఆహారం. ఈ రకంగా ఒక దానికి ఒకటి ఆహారము. అయితే ప్రళయకాలంలో సర్వజగత్తునూ ఆ మహాశక్తిలో లీనమైపోతుంది (మ్రింగివేయబడుతుంది). అందుకే విశ్వగ్రాసా అనబడుతోంది.

She who devours the whole universe

It is said like this in Kaaraka

Yasya brahma chakshatram chobhe bhavathi odanah

mrutyu ryasyopa sechanam ka veda yatra sah

The entire universe is food to the Original. Death is His side dish. Very few can grasp the real meaning of this. The whole universe is annihilated at the end. It is consumed by the Divine Mother. Hence she is called Vishwa Graasa. The biological chain indicates that one animal becomes food for the other. Herbivores live on grass. Carnivores live on Herbivores. Humans eat both. But at the end they also become food to the Ultimate. Because everything gets dissolved into that Maha Shakti. Hence she is called Vishwa Graasa.

889. Vishwabhramana karini

 

ఒకచోట మొదలయ్యి కొంత దూరం లేదా కొంత కాలం ప్రయాణించాక మళ్ళీ మొదలయిన స్థానానికే చేరుకోవడాన్ని భ్రమణం అంటారు. పరిశీలించి చూస్తే ఈ విశ్వంలో కదలికలన్నీ భ్రమణాలే. మణిద్వీపం చుట్టూ నక్షత్రాలు, సూర్యునిచుట్టూ భూమి, భూమి చుట్టూ చంద్రుడు, న్యుక్లియుస్ చుట్టూ ఎలెక్ట్రాన్లు, చావుపుట్టుకలు, కర్మ-ఫలితాలు, ఉఛ్వ్వాసా-నిశ్వాసలు, సృష్టి-స్థితి-లయ-తిరోధాన-అనుగ్రహాలు ఇలా పరబ్రహ్మము తప్ప మిగిలినవన్నీ భ్రమణంలోనే ఉన్నాయి. ఈ భ్రమణానికి శక్తి , కారణం అమ్మే. కాలికాపురాణంలో

విశ్వము అంటే విష్ణువు. అతడికి భ్రమణము కలుగచేయునది. ఒకసారి శ్రీమహావిష్ణువు గరుడునిమీద ఎక్కి ఆకాశమార్గంలో వెడుతూ కామరూప దేశంలో ఉన్న కామాఖ్యాదేవికి నమస్కరించలేదు. దానికి కోపించిన దేవి విష్ణువును సముద్రంలోకి త్రోసివేసింది. కొంతకాలం తరువాత లక్ష్మీదేవి విష్ణుమూర్తి కనపడక వెతుకుతూ కామరూపం వచ్చి కామాఖ్యాదేవిని ప్రసన్నం చేసుకుని విష్ణువును రక్షించుకున్నది. ఆ తరువాత విష్ణువు పరమేశ్వరిని పూజించి వైకుంఠం చేరాడు అని చెప్పబడింది. ఈ రకంగా విష్ణువు యొక్క భ్రమణానికి కారణమైనది కాబట్టి విశ్వభ్రమణకారిణి అనబడింది.

Bhramana means to move is cyclic motion. Almost everything in this universe (Vishwam) is a cyclical motion. Galaxies revolve around Manidweepam. Earth revolves around Sun. Moon revolves around Earth. Electrons revolve around nucleus. There are cycles of birth and death, breathe is a cycle, Karma and its fruits are a cycle, creation-sustenance-destruction is a cycle. Except Paramatma, rest all is a cycle. Divine Mother is the energy and reason of this cyclic motion.

It is said like this in Kaalika puraana

Vishwa means Lord Vishnu. One day, Lord Vishnu was travelling in the sky on Garuda. He ignored blessings of Goddess Kamaakhya while passing over the city of Kaama roopa. Goddess Kaamakhya punished Vishnu. Then he fell into the sea. Goddess Lakshmi worshipped Kaamakhya and got him out of the sea. Then Lord Vishnu prayed Goddess Kaamakhya and went back to Vaikuntha. Goddess Kaamakhya is none other than the Divine Mother herself. As she caused Lord Vishnu to move in cyclic motion like this, she is called Vishwabhramana karini.
