మా కులదైవమైన శ్రీ వేణుగోపాల స్వామి వారికి ఆయన రూపంలో ఉన్న ఆ జగన్మాతకు, మా తల్లిదండ్రులు శ్రీ మల్యాల జగన్నాధ శర్మ గారికి, శ్రీమతి సావిత్రి గారికి మా గురుదేవులు శ్రీ శ్రీ రామకృష్ణ పరమహంస గారికి, శ్రీ వివేకానందుల వారికి నా నమస్కారములు.
సౌభాగ్య భాస్కరం రచించిన శ్రీ భాస్కర రాయల వారికి, శ్రీ లలితా సహస్రనామ భాష్యం రచించిన డా:క్రోవి పార్ధసారధి గారికి, మోహన్ పబ్లికేషన్స్ వారికి, శ్రీ సాహస్రిక పుస్తక రచయిత ఇలపావులూరి పాండురంగారావు గారికి, మాన్ బ్లున్డర్ పబ్లికేషన్స్ వి.రవి గారికి, హిందూపీడియా వారికి ఇంకా ఎన్నో ఆధ్యాత్మిక ప్రవచనాలు ద్వారా, పుస్తకాల ద్వారా నాకు ఈ విజ్ఞానం అందించిన మహానుభావులు అందరికీ నా హృదయపూర్వక కృతజ్ఞతలు.
లలితా సహస్రం అనే మహా సముద్రంలో నాకు తెలిసింది నేను రాసేది ఒక చిన్న నీటి బొట్టుతో సమానం. భాగవతాన్ని ఆంధ్రీకరించిన శ్రీ బమ్మెర పోతన గారు ఇలా అన్నారు "భాగవతము తెలిసి పలుకుట కష్టము శూలికైన దమ్మి చూలికైన| విబుధ జనులవలన విన్నంత కనినంత తెలిసి వచ్చినంత తేటపఱతు ||". అదే స్ఫూర్తితో నేను ఈ లలితా సహస్రనామానికి వివరణ రాయడం ప్రారంభించాను. ఒక చిన్న ప్రయత్నం గా ప్రారంభించిన ఈ కార్యక్రమం ఎందరో మహానుభావులు సహాయం వలన ఒక మహా సంకల్పంగా రూపొందింది. స్నేహభావంతో లేదా సోదరభావంతో మీరందరూ నాకు పెట్టిన మెసేజ్లు నేను ఎక్కడైనా తప్పు చెప్పినప్పుడు దానిని సరిదిద్దడానికి మీరు చేసిన ప్రయత్నం నాకు ఎంతో ఉత్సాహాన్ని స్థైర్యాన్ని ఇచ్చాయి. మీకు నా హృదయపూర్వక కృతజ్ఞతలు.
నాకు ఏదో గొప్ప విషయాలు తెలుసని లేదా ఇంతటి గంభీరమైన విషయాన్ని ప్రస్తావించే ప్రజ్ఞ నాకు ఉందని నేను ఎన్నడూ భావించలేదు. ఏదైనా ఒక వేడుకలో చాలా కాలం తరువాత కలుసుకున్న తోబుట్టువులు చిన్నతనంలో తమ బాల్యం గడిచిన ఇంటిని, వారి తల్లిదండ్రుల తో గడిపిన మధుర స్మృతులు ఎలా తలుచుకుంటారో అలాగే జగన్మాతను అమ్మగా భావించి విశ్వమానవ సౌభ్రాతృత్వస్ఫూర్తితో ఈ లలితా సహస్రనామం వివరణ మీ అందరికీ అందిస్తున్నాను.

I pay homage to our family deity Sri Venu Gopalaswamy and to divine mother in his form, my beloved parents Sri Jagannatha Sharma han and Shrimati Savitri my gurus Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Shri Vivekananda
I thank wholeheartedly the writer of the book saubhagya bhaskaram Shri Bhaskara raya, Shri Krovi Parthasarathy who translated it to simple Telugu. Shri ilapavuluri Panduranga Rao who wrote the book Sri Sahasrika, Sri V.Ravi of Manblunder Publications, creators of hindupedia.com and many other spiritual gurus who bequethed this divine knowledge to me with their speeches and writings.
Lalitha Sahasram is an ocean and what I know of it is less than small drop. Shri Bammera Potana said like this while translating Bhagavatam into Telugu, "It is not possible to write all the Divine Knowledge even for Lord Shiva. I will make my best efforts to explain whatever I could understand from teachings of learned gurus". I started writing about Lalitha Sahasranamam with the same spirit. It began as a small attempt and gradually transformed into a mighty work with the help of many great people. your friendly comments and feedback gave me the required enthusiasm and determination. My wholehearted thanks to all you.
I never felt that I have accolades write explanation of Lalitha Sahasranamam. Not do I have any. When all the siblings gather in a family function, they discuss about their favorite pastimes of their childhood. They talk highly about their mother and father. This is the same feeling with which I am writing explanation of Lalitha Sahasranamam. I feel Jaganmatha, the divine mother is the mother of all and all of you are my brothers and sisters in the spirit of Universal brotherhood.
