మహత్తైన పరిణామము గలది. కాబట్టి మహతీ అనబడుతుంది. దేనిచేతనైతే లోకంలోని అన్ని వస్తువులు కూడా కొలవబడుతున్నాయో అది మహతీ. అమ్మ మహనీయురాలు, పూజ్యురాలు కాబట్టి మహతీ అనబడుతోంది. లోకవాసులచే పూజించబడే మాహాత్మ్యము గలది.
ఈ జగత్తంతా హిరణ్యగర్భునిచేతనే సృష్టించబడింది. ఆ హిరణ్యగర్భతత్వాన్నే మనం మహత్తు అంటాము. అంటే విశాలమయిన ప్రపంచానికి ప్రవర్తకురాలు. కాబట్టి అమ్మ మహతీ అనబడుతోంది.
కఠోపనిషత్తులో ఆత్మని గురించి చెబుతూ
అధోరణీయాం మహతో మహీయాం అన్నారు
అణువుకన్నా చిన్నదైనది. సూక్ష్మాతి సూక్ష్మమైనది. అదేవిధంగా మహత్తు అంటే గొప్ప దానికన్న ఇంకా గొప్పదైనది. అంతకన్న గొప్పది ఇంకేదీ లేదు అని చెప్పబడింది. అదే మన అమ్మ. అందుచేతనే ఆమె మహతీ అనబడుతోంది.
ఈ బ్రహ్మాండం చాలా పెద్దది. దీని పరిమాణం 1,87,74, 920 కోట్ల యోజనాలున్నది అని మన గ్రంథాలు చెబుతున్నాయి. బ్రహ్మాండమంతా ఆమె స్వరూపమే. ఇలాంటివి అనేక కోట్ల బ్రహ్మాండాలను సృష్టించి, వాటన్నిటియందూ ఆవరించి ఉన్నది. అందుచేతనే ఆమె మహతీ అనబడుతోంది.
Mahat means very great. The one that is greater than anything else is called Mahat. Divine Mother is very great. Hence she is called Mahatee. She worshipped by millions of people in the world
This whole universe is created by Hiranya garbha. The concept and principles of Hiranya Garbha is called Mahat. Mahatee means the one who masters the whole universe.
It is said like this in Kathopanishad
Adhoraneeyaam mahato maheeyaam
Smaller than the smallest. Bigger than the biggest. That is our mother.
This brahmanda is very vast. Its area is spread across 1,87,74,920 yojanas. This whole brahmanda is her form. She created countless such brahmandas. She is filled in all of those. Hence she is called Mahatee.
