Few practitioners practice religious customs without doing self-less service. This is not good. It would lead to indecisiveness. Their spiritual progress would become much more difficult.
Self-less service is not a complicated, rule based concept. It is very easy and approachable to everyone. Just add at least one task in your daily routine that does not have any selfish motive. It can be any small help that you can do to others. Just do it wholeheartedly. That would give you immense pleasure and wisdom.
జ్వాలామాలిని - ఈమె అగ్ని దేవుని కుమార్తె. భండాసురునితో పోరు భీకరంగా సాగుతున్నది. అప్పుడు అమ్మ జ్వాలామాలినిని వంద యోజనాల వైశాల్యము ముప్పై యోజనాల ఎత్తు కల అగ్ని జ్వాలను సృష్టించామని ఆజ్ఞాపించింది. జ్వాలామాలిని అలాగే చేసింది. ఈ అగ్గ్ని వలయం అమ్మ సైన్యానికి రక్షణ కవచంలా పనిచేసింది.
శ్రీచక్రం అగ్నివలయంలో ఉంది. అమ్మ ఆ శ్రీచక్రం పైన ఉంది. పండితులు దీనిని ఈ విధంగా వివరించారు. శ్రీచక్రాన్ని ఎరిగిన జ్ఞ్యానులు సంఘంలో ఉంటూనే అజ్ఞానానికి దూరంగా ఉంటారు. భౌతికంగా అందరితో ఉన్నా మానసికంగా ఇంద్రియ వ్యాపారాలకు భోగలాలసకు నేను నాది అనే భ్రమలకు దూరంగా ఉంటారు. ఈ జ్వాలా వలయం వారి అంతరంగంలో జ్ఞానానికి అజ్ఞానికి మధ్య ఉన్న గోడ వంటిది.
రహస్యం - పరమాత్మ ప్రకటీకృతం అవుదామని కోరుకున్నప్పుడు ప్రకృతి వచ్చింది. ప్రకటితమయినటువంటి ప్రకృతే పరమాత్మ. ప్రకృతి అంటే చరాచర జగత్తు. అదే శ్రీచక్రం. శ్రీచక్రాన్ని తెలుసుకొన దలిచిన సాధకులు ప్రకృతిని పరీక్షించడం మొదలుపెడతారు. అప్పుడు వారికి సత్ ఏమిటి మాయ ఏమిటి అనే విషయాలు స్ఫురించడానికి మంత్రిని శ్యామల గేయచక్రం మీద వస్తుంది. మంత్రిణి వచ్చిందంటే శ్రీచక్రం తెలిసిపోయినట్లే. అంటే పరమాత్మ దర్శనం జరిగిపోయినట్లే. కానీ ఇది అంత సులువు కాదు. అప్పటికే ఘనీభవించిన జ్ఞాన ఖనిజం మెదడులో ఉన్నవారికే అది సాధ్యం అవుతుంది. జ్ఞానం లేకుండా ప్రకృతిని ఎంత పరిశీలించినా ఉపయోగం ఉండదు. ఎందుకంటే ప్రకృతి మాయ. క్షణ భంగురం. ఇందువలన సాధకులు సాధనలో పురోగతి సాధించలేక పోతారు. అప్పుడు వారాహి కిరిచక్ర రథంపై వచ్చి సాధకులచే నిష్కామ కర్మ చేయించి వారికి శ్యామలను అందుకునే జ్ఞానం ఇస్తుంది. ఇది కూడా అనుకున్నంత సులువు కాదు. నిష్కామ కర్మ చేయాలంటే మనసును సత్వ గుణంలో నిలబెట్టాలి. కాస్త నిష్కామ కర్మ చేయగానే మనస్సు రజోగుణ తమోగుణాలతో నిండిపోతుంది. బండెడు కోరికలు పుట్టుకొచ్చేస్తాయి. ఇది జారుడు మెట్లపై పయనం వంటిది. అందుకే మడి, ఆచారం వంటివి వచ్చాయి. అదే జ్వాలామాలిని నిర్మించే అగ్ని వలయం. మడి ఆచారం అంటే చూడకోనివి చూడకుండుట. వినకూడనివి వినకుండుట. తినకూడనివి తినకుండుట. చేయకూడనివి చేయకుండుట. మనస్సును చంచలం చేసేవి వాటిని దరిచేరనీయకూడదు. అందుకని సనాతన ధర్మంలో మడి ఆచారం వచ్చాయి. వాటి వలన వచ్చే ఒకే ఒక్క ప్రయోజనం సాధకులని సాధనలో నిలబెట్టుట మాత్రమే.

కొంతమంది సాధకులు నిష్కామ కర్మ చేయకుండా మడి ఆచారాలను పట్టుకుంటారు. అప్పడు అది చాదస్తముగా పరిణమిస్తుంది. వారిని మరిన్ని కష్టములకు గురిచేస్తుంది. అందుకే ఆధ్యాత్మిక సాధనలో నిష్కామ కర్మ చాలా ముఖ్యం.
నిష్కామకర్మ అంటే ఎదో గొప్ప సూత్రాలతోనూ, పద్ధతులతోను ఉండే విషయమేమి కాదు. అందరూ చేయదగిన సాధారణమైన విషయమే. మీ దైనందిన జీవితంలో ఎటువంటి స్వలాభము లేకుండా చేసే పనే నిష్కామకర్మ. దానిని శక్తి వంచన లేకుండా చేయాలి. అది ఒక్కటే నియమం. అది ఎంత చిన్న పని అయినా పరవాలేదు.
