కోశము - వర, ధనాగారము. లోకంలోని ధనాగారం మొత్తానికి అధిపతి. అమ్మ ఉండేది మణిద్వీపంలో, చింతామణి గృహంలో చింతామణులు - చింతలను తీర్చేమణులు ఉన్నాయి. చితి - మృతదేహాన్ని దహిస్తే, చింత బ్రతికి ఉన్న దేహాన్ని దహించివేస్తుంది. అందుకే అటువంటి చింతలను తీర్చే మణులు ఎంతో అమూల్యమైనవి.
లెక్కలేనన్ని ధనరాశులను ఒక్కక్షణంలో ఇవ్వగలదు. దేవీ భాగవతంలో
యస్యా స్తు పార్శ్వభాగేతు నిధీశౌ శంఖపద్మకౌ |
నవరత్నమహానద్య సదావై కాంచనస్రవా ||
యస్యా స్తు పార్శ్వభాగేతు నిధీశౌ శంఖపద్మకౌ |
నవరత్నమహానద్య సదావై కాంచనస్రవా ||
అమ్మకి రెండువైపులా శంఖపద్మనిధులున్నాయి. నవరత్నాలు, బంగారము కలిసిన నదులు ప్రవహిస్తున్నాయి. అంటే పరమేశ్వరి వద్ద లెక్కలేనంత సంపద ఉన్నది. దాన్ని లోకంలోని తన భక్తుల కోరికలు తీర్చటానికి ఉపయోగిస్తుంది. అందరూ ఆమె భక్తులే. అన్నీ ఆమె రూపాలే. కృష్ణుడు, శివుడు, విష్ణువు. అంతేకాదు జినుడు, బుద్ధుడు, క్రీస్తు, అల్లా అన్నీ ఆమె రూపాలే. జనులందరూ ఆమె భక్తులే. ఈ రకంగా భక్తకోటికి ఇవ్వటానికి ఆమె వద్ద సంపద ఉన్నది. ఆ సంపదకంతటికీ ఆమె అధికారిణి.
కోశనాథా - కోశములకు అధిపతి. పంచకోశాంతరస్థితా అనే నామంలో మనం అన్నమయ, ప్రాణమయ, మనోమయ, విజ్ఞానమయ, ఆనందమయకోశాలు గురించి తెలుసుకున్నాం. వీటన్నింటికీ ఆధిపత్యం ఆమెదే. ఈ రకంగా ఆమెకోశనాథా అనబడుతుంది.
Kosha - Cell, Treasury.
Divine mother is the owner of all the Treasuries that exist in this universe. She lives in Manidweepa. Name of her house is Chintamani. Chinta means concern. There are numerous precious stones and gems in Chintamani to address all our concerns. Chiti is the fire that burns a dead body. Chinta is the fire that burns you alive. Divine mother is the owner of all the treasures in Chintamani that can address all our Chintas and solve our miseries.
She can give abundant wealth in a split second. It is said like this in Devi Bhagavatha:
Yasyaasthu paarshwabhaagethu nedheeshou shankhapadmakou
Navaratnamahaanadhya sadaavai kaanchanasravaa
Shankha nidhi and Padma nidhi are the two treasures that are kept on both sides of Divine Mother. These have rivers of all the nine precious gems and gold. That means Divine Mother has infinite wealth. She uses it to address our concerns. Here 'our' represents everyone. Vishnu, Shiva, Krishna, Jina, Buddha, Christ, Allah etc are all Her forms. As she is the owner of the infinite wealth in all the Koshas(Treasuries), she is called Koshanatha.
We discussed in the name panchakoshandharasthitha that our body is divided into 5 koshas. They are Annamaya, Pranamaya, Manomaya, Vignanamaya, Anandamaya. Divine mother is the head of all these Koshas. Hence she is called Koshanadha
