Koshamu means cell.
The human body has five cells. They are:
1. Annamayakosa (Food cell), 2. Pranamayakosa (life cell), 3. Anandamayakosa (bliss cell), 4. Manomayakosa (mind cell), 5. Vijnanamayakosa (knowledge cell)
The Anandamayakosa is located between the other four cells. Parabrahma is in it.
Bhrigumaharshi, the son of Varuna Maharshi, (in the Taittiriopanishattu), with the desire to complete his education and attain Nirvana, went to his father and asked him to teach about Parabrahma. The father replied, "O1 son! Food, life, senses, mind, speech are all ways to attain Parabrahma. Brahma is embedded in all these things. You need to know what it is derived from, what it is nourished with, and what is the source of everything that goes into it. It must be achieved through penance. So go and do penance. "Bhrigu took initiation as per the order of his father and started penance. Some time passed. He learned that Food is the form of Parabrahma. All living things are produced by Food. All living things are nourished by food. So, food is the form of Parabrahma. He told his father about this. Varuna Maharshi said, "Dear son! You are on the first step in path to Nirvana. Practice again. Food is the form of Parabrahma. But it is not the only form of Parabrahma. Go and do penance." Bhrigu began to meditate again. Some time passed. He realized that life is Brahma. All living things in the world live by life. Everything goes to death when life is gone. He therefore felt that life was the source of all creation. He told the same thing to his father.
"Dear son! You went a little further than before. Moreover prana(life) is not the only form of Parabrahma." Said Varuna Maharshi and asked to do penance again. Bhrigu began to do penance again. Some time passed. Creatures are produced by the mind. Men and women are attracted to each other by the mind. Then beings are born. After birth, life continues with the help of the senses. These senses are mastered by mind. Even after death all the senses are immersed in the mind. So, Bhrigu thought mind is Brahma! He told this to his father. No, said his father. The father asked Bhrigu to continue penance. Bhrigu meditated again for a while. Then he understood that knowledge is Brahma, he told the matter to his father. No, said his father. The father asked him to do penance again. Bhrigu did penance again. Then he discovered that that everlasting happiness (Satchidananda) is Brahma, and everything is born from happiness. It is bliss. He conveyed the same to his father. The father e is overjoyed!
Varuna Maharshi then said. "Dear Son! The best expression of the parabrahma is bliss. Food, life, mind and knowledge are also forms of Parabrahma. All these are subtler than one another. Happiness is above all. This bliss is eternal. That is why one should acquire knowledge and thereby realize Brahma"
So, the Parabrahma form is in the Panchakoshas.
The human body is divided into three types of bodies. They are: 1. Physical body 2. Astral body 3. causal body
1. Physical Body-Food
2. Astral - Life, Mind, Knowledge/Intellect
3. Causal - Bliss
There are five flowers in Divine mother's statue. They are Panchatanmatras. In some places those flowers are one on one rather than separately. They are panchakoshas.
1. Annamaya Kosha(Food cell) contains the Pranamaya kosha(Life cell).
2. The Pranamaya kosha(Life cell) contains the Manomaya kosha(The mind cell).
3. The Manomaya kosha(The mind cell) contains the Gnanamaya kosha(knowledge cell).
4. The Gnanamaya kosha(knowledge cell) contains the Anandamaya kosha(The bliss).
Divine mother is in the Anandamayakosha. She is ecstatic. That is why it is called Panchakosantharasthita.
