Divine Mother created four varnas for us. They are 1. Brahmin, 2. Kshatriya, 3. Vaishya, 4. Shudra. All of us are Shudras by birth. Because none of us know what is dharma and what is adharma at birth. At the age of eight, the varna of a child changes after the upanayanam. He/she begins vedic education from the gurus depending on his karma. Then he transforms into a Brahmin or a Vaisya or a Kshatriya.

The Shudras who do not know the Vedic knowledge use their physical strength and endurance to work hard and feed the rest of the castes. That is why it is said Padabhago Shudro Ajayata

A Brahmin who is well versed in Vedic knowledge uses his energy and brilliance to perform rituals such as Yajna and spreads vedic knowledge through his mouth, that is why Brahmano Sya Mukhamasit .

A kshatriya who has good craftsmanship and Vedic knowledge practices many martial arts and even sacrifices his life to protect the people. That's why it is said bahu rajnyah kritah

A Vaishya who has good worldly knowledge and knowledge of various sciences, takes up entrepreneurship and provides suitable jobs to the people. He learns trade secrets from his ancestors and gurus and passes them on safely to posterity. That is why it is said Urutadasya Yadvaisya. Read this post for more details.

Divine Mother has appointed 5 ashrams for all of us. They are 1.Childhood, 2.Brahmacharyam, 3.Grihasthashram, 4.Vanaprastham, 5.Sanyasam.

Childhood is about developing immunity from various diseases and learning common sense from parents. Brahmacharya is to study with gurus and acquire the knowledge needed for long life and self-realization. Grihasthashram is to get married, establish a household, lead a righteous life, take care of elders, bear children, raise them and ensure they become successful. Vaanaprastha is to practice moksha by staying away from worldly bonds. Sanyasam is to surrender oneself to Paramatma.
