గోవిన్దరూపుడైన విష్ణువే ఈశ్వరుడు. అటువంటి రూపము గాలాడవటంచేత గోవిందా రూపిణీ అనబడుతుంది. గోవిందుడు అంటే - గవాధ్యక్షుడు. బృహస్పతి అని ఉంది. కాబట్టి బృహస్పతి రూపం కలది.
జగద్రక్షణ సత్వగుణ ప్రధానము. పరమేశ్వరుని మూర్తులలో సత్వగుణప్రధానుడు గోవిందుడు. అటువంటి గోవిందుని రూపంలో జగత్తును రక్షిస్తున్నది.
గో శబ్దానికి భూమి అని అర్ధం. హిరాణ్యాక్షుడి బారినుంచి భూమిని రక్షించిన వాడు వరాహరూపంలో ఉన్న గోవిందుడు. అది అమ్మ రూపమే కనుక గోవిన్దరూపిణీ.
వాక్కుచేతగాని వేదాంతవాక్కులచేతగాని పొందదగినడవటంచేత అమ్మ గోవిందరూపిణీ అనబడుతుంది.
Lord Vishnu, the form of Govinda, is called Eshwara. Govinda means the Gavaadhyaksha (lord of the gate). It's Brahaspati. So Divine mother has the form of Brahaspati.
Protecting the creation is main job of Govinda who is mainly of sattvaguna. Govinda is one of the forms of Parameswara. Divine mother is protecting the creation in the form of such a Govinda.
The word 'go' means earth. It was Govinda in the form of Varaha who saved the earth from the clutches of Hiranyaksha. Since it is the form of Divine Mother, she is called govindarupini.
Divine Mother is called Govindarupini because she is attainable by faculty of speech or by the words from vedic hymns.
