ప్రతీ దేవతకు కొంత పరిధి ఉంటుంది. దానిని మించి కోరితే వారు సాయం చేయలేరు. కానీ లలితమ్మకు పరిధి లేదు. తన భక్తులు కోరిన దానికన్నా ఎక్కువ ఇస్తుంది ఆమె. అందుకే వాంచితార్ధప్రదాయినీ అన్నారు. 

కైవల్యానికి అభ్యాసం అవసరం. ఈ అభ్యాసానికి మొదటి మెట్టు ధ్యానం. సంకల్పవికల్ప సంఘాతంలో భ్రమిస్తున్న మనస్సును ఒకే చోట లగ్నముచేసి ధ్యానానికి కూర్చోవడము కష్టమే. అప్పుడే సాధకులు లలితమ్మను ఆశ్రయించాలి. ఆవిడ స్తోత్రం చదివి అందులోని రహస్యాలు తెలుసుకోవాలి. ఆవిడ అద్భుత చరిత్త్ర తెలుసుకున్న వారు ముగ్ధులవుతారు. ఏదైనా తీరని కోరికలు ఉంటె ఆవిడ వెంటనే తీర్చేస్తుంది. ఈ విధంగా భ్రమించడానికి కారణంలేని స్థితికి మనస్సు చేరుతుంది. అప్పుడు ఆవిడ పాదపద్మములపై దృష్టి సారించి ధ్యానం చేయవచ్చు. అందుకే అమ్మ ఎప్పుడు వరద ముద్ర పట్టి ఉంటుంది. ఇదే ఈ నామం వెనుక రహస్యం. 

Every Devata has a limited range. If our wish is beyond their range, but they can't be of much help. But Divine mother is infinite. She has the reputation of giving beyond what we ask for. Hence she is called vanchitardha pradayini

That is why one should seek Mother. They should learn about her rich heritage. By reading her names and understanding the secrets behind each one of them, the mind is awed. Any doubt or fear will be shattered. Mother will fulfill any unfulfilled wish. With this the mind loses the reason to wander. Then it will be able to focus on her lotus feet. That's how one should start practicing spirituality. That is why Mother always holds varada mudra in her hand. This is the secret behind this name.
