సవ్య, అపసవ్య మార్గాలలో ఏ పద్ధతిలోనైనా అమ్మను ఆరాధించే వారికి ఏ రకమైన ఆపదలు రావు ఎందుకంటే ఆవిడ వారిని ఎల్లపుడూ కాపాడుతూ ఉంటుంది.
భగవద్గీతలో గీతాచార్యుడు చెప్పినట్లుగాఅనన్యా శ్చింతయంతో మాం యే జనాః పర్యుపాసతే |
తేషాం నిత్యాభియుక్తానాం యోగక్షేమం వహా మ్యహమ్ ||
ఏ విధమైన సందేహాలు లేకుండా మనోవాక్కాయ కర్మలచే భగవంతుడిని ఉపాసించేవారి బాధలను తొలగించి వారి రక్షణభారము ఆయనే స్వయంగా స్వీకరిస్తాడు.
కూర్మపురాణంలో
“సంగరహితులై నన్ను శరణు పొందేవారు, సర్వభూతములందు దయగలవారు, శాంతులు, వేదాంతులు, బుద్ధిమంతులు, తాపసుల, కష్టాలు అనతికాలంలోనే లీనమయిపోతాయి. పై లక్షణాలు లేకపోయినా నిత్యము నా నామజపం చేసేవారు, నన్నే ధ్యానించేవారి ఆపదలు కూడా త్వరగా వదలిపోతాయి. అమ్మని స్మరించేవారి అన్ని ఆపదలను ఆమె తొలగిస్తుంది. అందుచేతనే ఆమె సర్వాపద్వినివారిణీ అనబడుతుంది.
వరాహపురాణంలో బ్రహ్మాదులు దేవిని ప్రార్ధిస్తూ
శరణం త్వాం ప్రపద్యంతే యే దేవీం పరమేశ్వరీం |
న తేషా మాపదః కాశ్చిజ్జాయంతే క్వాపి సంకటే ||
పరమేశ్వరీ ! నిన్ను శరణు పొందితే వారికి కొంచెమైన ఆపదలు కలగవు. ఇందులో సందేహం లేదు అంటారు.
శరణం త్వాం ప్రపద్యంతే యే దేవీం పరమేశ్వరీం |
న తేషా మాపదః కాశ్చిజ్జాయంతే క్వాపి సంకటే ||

Those who worship Divine Mother in either Savya or Apasavya path get total protection from her.
It is said like this in Bhagavad Gita
Ananyaa schintayanto maam ye janaah paryupaasathe |
Tesham nityaabhiyuktaanaam yogakshemam vahaamyaham ||
Those who worship God with undoubted faith, with purity of mind, speech and actions would get total protection from HIM. He shoulders the responsibility of their wellbeing.
It is said like this in Kurma Puraana
"Those who shun all material possessions, have compassion to all beings, calm, philosophical, intellectual and spend time in meditating upon ME will not face any hardships. I will ensure they are well protected. Even if one does not possess all the qualities described above, I will still protect if they worship me with undoubted faith." Hence Divine Mother is being called a Sarvapadvinivaarini
It is said like this in Varaaha Puraana
Sharanam twaam prapadyanthe ye deveem parameshwareem |
na teshaa maapadah kaaschijnayante kwaapi sankate ||
O! Parameshwaree! Those who seek your protection with complete faith are the most happiest and safest because they will never have even the smallest one of the sorrows.
