859. Kaashta

ఇక్కడ కాష్ఠ అంటే హద్దు అనే అర్ధం వస్తుంది. పరమాత్మ సాయుజ్యమే అతి గొప్ప ధనము. యోగ సాధనతో అది లభిస్తుంది. 

కఠోపనిషత్తులో 

సా కాష్ఠా సా పరా గతిః
పరమేశ్వరియే గమ్యమైనది. మార్గమైనది. కాబట్టి కాష్ఠా అనబడుతోంది.

సప్తశతిలోని పదకొండవ అధ్యాయంలో

కలాకాష్ఠాదిరూపేణ పరిణామ ప్రదాయినీ |

విశ్వస్యోపరతౌశక్తే నారాయణి ! నమోస్తుతే ||

కాలంలో మార్పులు కలిగిస్తూ జగత్తును నాశనం చేసే శక్తిగల ఓ నారాయణీ ! నీకు ప్రణామములు. అంటే అమ్మ సాక్షాత్తు కాలస్వరూపిణి అని అర్ధం. 

ఒక రెప్పపాటు కాలమును నిమేష అంటారు. ఇది 0.088888...సెకండ్లు. అటువంటి 18 నిమేషాలను ఒక కాష్ఠ అంటారు. అంటే 1.60 సెకండ్లు. 30 కాష్ఠములు ఒక కల. ఇలా కాలంలో జరిగే మార్పులన్నీ అమ్మే. 

మైరాళతంత్రంలో

హరిద్రావృక్షముయొక్క(పసుపు) కొయ్యముక్క కాష్ఠ అనబడుతుంది. అంటే అమ్మ దారు స్వరూపిణి. 

లింగపురాణంలో
చరాచరాణాం భూతానాం సర్వేషా మవకాశతః
వ్యోమాత్మా భగవా నేవో భీమ ఇత్యుచ్యతే బుధైః
మహామహిమ్నో దేవస్య భీమస్య పరమాత్మనః
దశస్వరూపా దిక్పత్నీ సుతః స్వర్గశ్చ సూరిభిః

సకల చరాచర భూతాలకు అవకాశమిచ్చేవాడు వ్యోమాత్మకుడైన దేవుడు భీముడు. ఆ భీమునికి పది దిక్కులయందు భార్యలున్నారు. స్వర్గము అతని కుమారుడు. గగనాత్మకుడైన భీముడు  భార్య కాష్ఠ. స్వర్గమాత. దిక్స్వరూపిణి.

వేదాంతవాక్యములచే నిరూపించబడిన తత్త్వముకూడా కాష్ఠా అనబడుతున్నది.

Kaashta means the highest limit. Union with God is the greatest achievement. Only the most talented and capable can achieve it. It is possible through yoga and meditation

Saa kaashtaa saa paraa gatih

Divine mother is the ultimate goal.

It is said like this in Sapthashathi

Kaalaakaashtaadi roopena parinaama pradaayanee |

Vishwasyoparathoushakte naaraayani! Namostuthe

O! Narayanee! Salutations to you. You are the time into which everything disappears.

The time taken for 1 blink is called 'nimesha'. It is 0.088888...seconds. 18 such nimeshas is 1 Kaashta. It is 1.60 seconds. 30 Kaashtas is on 'kala'.

The stick of the tree 'Haridhra' (turmeric) is called Kaashta. All wood is form of Divine mother.

charaacharaanaam bhootaanaam sarveshaa mavakaashatah

vyomaatmaa bhagavaa nevo bheem ityuchyate buddhaih

mahamahimno devasya bheemasya paramaatmanah

dashswaroopaa dikpatnee sutah swargascha sooribhih

Lord Bheema is spread all over the sky. He provides equal opportunities to all the beings. He has 10 spouses in 10 directions. Heaven is his son. His wife is Kaashta. Mother of Heaven, spread in all directions.

Kaashta also means philosophy proven by vedic texts.
