యుద్ధంలో వెన్ను చూపనివారు వీరులు. అటువంటి వారు లక్ష్యం కోసం ప్రాణాలను కూడా త్యాగం చేయగలరు. జ్ఞానవిద్యలో 'నేను' అనే అహంకారాన్ని పూర్తిగా వదిలి పెట్టడం కూడా అటువంటిదే. యోగి తన శరీరాన్ని అంతః కారణాలను పూర్తిగా త్యజించాలి. అలా అహంకారాన్ని అధికమిస్తేనే ముక్తి లభిస్తుంది. అందుకే ఆత్మ సాక్షాత్కారమే లక్ష్యంగా గల యోగులను వీరులు అంటారు. అటువంటి వీరులను అమ్మ ఎల్లపుడూ కాపాడుతుంది.
ఉత్సాహం సాహసం ధైర్యం బుద్ధిఃశక్తిః పరాక్రమః
షడైతే యత్ర తిష్టంతి తత్ర దేవో2పి తిష్టతి
ఉత్సాహము, సాహసము, ధైర్యము, బుద్ధి, శక్తి, పరాక్రమము, ఇవి ఎక్కడుంటాయో దేవతలు కూడా అక్కడే ఉంటారు. ఇవన్నీ వీరుల లక్షణాలు.
మహావీరులైన త్రిమూర్తులు, ఇంద్రుడు, దిక్పాలకులు, కుమారస్వామి, గణపతిలకు తల్లి.
Veera means warriors. They don't fear of death. They fight for their goal till the end. In 'Gnana vidhya', overcoming 'I' is also similar. A Yogi has to shun his body and all the Antah karanas. He/She has to overcome the 'Ego'. Only then he/she will be liberated. That is why such yogis are called warriors. Divine mother is protecting such various always.

Shadaite yatra thishtanthi tathra devopi thishtathi
Devatas enhance enthusiasm, spirit of Adventure, courage, wisdom, power and valor. These are marks of warriors.
