All matter is made up of tiny particles. These particles are so tiny that they cannot be seen with naked eye. One has to use machines like compound microscopes to see them. These are called with names like Proton, Neutron, Electron etc. These are called subatomic particles. All the matter that we see with our naked eye has trillions of such tiny particles. We learnt previously that Paramatma is omni present. That means it is present in these subatomic particles as well.
In Kathopanishath, Atma is described as smaller than the smallest (Adhoraneeyam). It is present inside the tiniest of all the particles. Hence it is smaller than the smallest. Hence it is called Paramanuh
