సర్వులను మోహింపచేయునది. ద్వైతబుద్ధి కలవారిని మోహింపచేస్తుంది. అద్వైతులు జ్ఞానులు. జీవాత్మ, పరమాత్మ రెండూ ఒకటే అని నమ్మేవారు. ద్వైతులు జీవుడు వేరు, దేవుడు వేరు అని నమ్మేవారు. ఈ ద్వైతులను మోహింపచేస్తుంది.
కూర్మపురాణంలో ఈ పరాశక్తి నా రూపము గలది. బ్రహ్మరూపిణి. ఆమె మాయ. ఈ జగమంతా ఆమెచే మోహితమవుతున్నది అని చెప్పబడింది.64 తంత్రాల ద్వారా లోకంలో ఐహికవాదులనందరనీ మోహింపచేస్తున్నది శుద్ధ బ్రహ్మను ఆవరించి ఉన్న మాయయే నిజమని నమ్మేవారిని మోహింపచేస్తుంది. జగత్తంతా మాయామయమని తెలిసినవారు జ్ఞానులు. వారికి సాయుజ్యం లభిస్తుంది.
దేవతలు, రాక్షసులు క్షీరసాగరమధనం చేసినప్పుడు అమృతం పుట్టింది. ఆ అమృతం కోసం దేవతలు రాక్షసులు తగవులాడుకుంటుండగా మోహిని వచ్చి రాక్షసులనందరినీ సమ్మోహనంచేసి అమృతాన్ని దేవతలకు పంచింది. ఈ రకంగా అజ్ఞానులను, ఆత్మజ్ఞానం లేనివారిని సర్వులను మోహింపచేస్తుంది. కాబట్టి సర్వమోహినీ అని చెప్పబడింది.
Mohamu means delusion. A state of mind in which one loses the ability to find out the reality. Those who believe in dwaita philosophy are subject to delusion. They think there are two different classes. God and living beings. This is ignorance.
It is said like this in kurma purana - The entire world is subject to delusion caused by Divine mother. It is called Maya.
Those who dont believe in the spirit and always think about material pleasures are subjected to delusion. There are 64 tantras that cause this delusion. Those who realize this maya go beyond it and attain moksha.
Divine mother cleverly delusioned rakshasas while distributing amruta when she came in mohini avatara. Rakshasas were attracted to her beauty and lost awareness of amruta being distributed to devatas.
