There is a coolest way to success. It is to be well aware of your own strength and identify the weaknesses of your opponent. Let's discuss what are the different types of strengths we possess, and  how to use them. There are 7 types of strengths. They are:
  1. Strength of the soul - Every one has this.  It is infinite. It is the best of our strengths. But it is almost impossible to take full advantage of this for common people. Only saints and sages with lot of meditation and practice can take full advantage of this.
  2. Tendency - It is called 'vaasana' in Sanskrit. It comes by birth. It is God's gift. Every human being has a tendency. Due to this humans exhibit natural talent in certain aspects. There are three types of tendencies. They are: 1. Physiological tendencies 2. Spiritual tendencies 3. Social tendencies. If the field of work you are pursuing is inline with your tendency, you can achieve great results. For example: A guy with good social tendency has great change to succeed as a politician or a business man. People with strong spiritual tendencies can easily succeed in research and academics. Tendency is the secret of exceptional talent possessed by singers, fighters, actors etc. It is the main driver to succeed in any of the 64 fine arts described in vedic literature. The secret for success is in recognizing your tendency.
  3. Strength of worship - It comes from devotion to God. It's very powerful.  Sins of the past (known and unknown)  form an aura around you and cause several obstacles in your trails. It is called 'dhuritam' in vedic literature. Due to this you face hurdles that are beyond your circle of influence. By offering prayers, sacrifice, service, meditation etc, with devotion, you can overcome these hurdles.
  4. Strength of horoscope - This indicates timeliness. Hora Shastra(Horoscope) is a great gift given to us by Sri Parashara Maharishi. It tells us how different planets impact us at a particular point of time. These calculations are dependent on your place and time of birth. Astrologers first take a snapshot of planetary positions at the time of birth from your birth place. From there, all the planetary progressions are analysed to arrive at the current situation. There are no permanently good or permanently bad planets like everyone think. Each planet has a defined effect at a given time based on its position in your horoscope. For the effect to be good or bad is decided by the planet's position in the horoscope. By doing 'Japa' and 'Homa' you can eliminate / reduce bad effects. what's important to note here is that your goal must be inline with the planetary effects at that time. Rationalists argue that, "How a planet that is a few light years away ever effect me? How does that effect change if you do puja / chanting mantras? All this is fiction. This has no scientific proof". But they are wrong. Astrology is a science. Many yogis spent their precious time researching and discussing the changes happening with in them before postulating the principles of Hora shastra. In Hora science, astrologers take into account the tilt of earth's axis of rotation. They apply Pythagoras theorem to calculate the real distance by creating a right angle triangle with 17 degrees to arrive at the real distance from your place of birth. Hora shastra is scientific not fiction.
  5. Strength of intellect - It comes through the knowledge you acquire. Intellectual faculties play crucial role in decision making. You require grace of goddess Saraswati to possess a strong intellect. Goddess Saraswati showers her grace on those who study with devotion, internal purity and have down to earth attitude.
  6. Social circle - We get a lot of help, both directly and indirectly, from people around us. This will contribute to our success. For example: a student of medicine with a social circle of good doctors will have a better learning experience. So you should create a social circle with knowledgeable people in your field of work. It can be friends, parents, relatives, teachers etc, but their knowledge/expertise should be inline with your field of work.
  7. Health - Last  but not least. Those who want to be successful must focus on good health. Good health includes both physical strength and mental balance. Practice good habits like yoga,  Surya namaskara, meditation etc.
