919. Chaitanya kusumapriya

 

అంతఃపూజలో బయటనుంచి పుష్పాలుకొని తేవటం కాదు. ఆత్మ చైతన్యాన్నే పుష్పాలుగా భావించి పరమాత్మని అర్చించాలి. 

శంకరభగవత్పాదులవారు తమ సౌందర్య లహరిలోని మూడవశ్లోకంలో ఇలా అన్నారు.
జడానాం చైతన్యస్తబకమకరంద స్రుతిఝరీ
చైతన్యపుష్పములో స్రవించే తేనే లలితమ్మ. 

చైతన్యకుసుమాలు ఎనిమిది. అవి 

1. అహింస, 2. ఇంద్రియనిగ్రహము, 3. క్షమ, 4. కనికరము, 5. వివేకము, 6. తపస్సు, 7. సత్యము
8. ధ్యానము
సాధకుడు వీటిని కలిగి ఉండాలి. ప్రపంచంలో ఇతరులపట్ల వీటిని వినియోగించాలి.
అదే చైతన్యకుసుమారాధన. దానియందు ప్రీతి గలది కాబట్టి అమ్మ చైతన్యకుసుమప్రియా అనబడుతుంది.

అహింసా ప్రథమ పుష్పం పుష్ప మింద్రియ నిగ్రహః
దయా క్షమా జ్ఞాన పుష్పం పంచపుష్పం తతః పరం

అహింస, ఇంద్రియనిగ్రహము, దయ, క్షమ, జ్ఞానము. వీటిన పంచపుష్పాలు అంటారు. వీటితో సాధకులు మొట్టమొదట అహింసా పరులై ఉండాలి.  ఈ పుష్పాలతో పరమాత్మను అర్చించాలి.అదే చైతన్యకుసుమార్చన. అటువంటి అర్చన యందు ప్రీతి గలది. కాబట్టి అమ్మ చైతన్యకుసుమప్రియా అనబడుతుంది.

In Antah puja, it is not enough if we offer various flowers to God. Because these flowers are from the nature that is external. A spiritual practitioner should treat the inner consciousness as a flower and offer that to that all pervading paramaatma.

Saint Sankarachaarya said like this in Soundarya lahari

Jadaanaam chaitanyasthabakamakaranda shruthijharee

Divine mother Lalitha is the nectar that secretes in the flower called Chaitanya pushpa

There are 8 types of Chaitanya flowers. They are:

1.Non-violence, 2. Self-control, 3. Forgiveness, 4. Compassion, 5. Wisdom, 6. Penance, 7. Truth, 8. Meditation

A devotee who worships God every day should seek to possess these qualities. Then he will enjoy His blessings. That is Chaitanya kusuma araadhana (worship through the chaitanya flowers). Mother likes such devotees.

Ahimsaa prathama pushpam pushpamindriya nigrahah

dayaa kshamaa gnaana pushpam panchapushpam tatah param

Non-violence, Self-control, Compassion, Forgiveness, Wisdom are called Pancha Pushpa (The five flowers). The first and foremost is Non-violence. It is a must have for every devotee. Having all these qualities is Chaitanya kusumaarchana. Mother likes such devotees. Hence, she is called Chaitanya kusuma priya.
