లోకంలో పుట్టిన ప్రతి ప్రాణి మరణించి తీరవలసినదే. ఈ లోకము మరము. అంటే మరణము స్వభావంగా కలిగినటువంటిది. అయితే మృత్యువు రెండు రకాలు. 1.అపమృత్యువు 2. కాలమృత్యువు
కాలమృత్యువు అంటే ఆయువు తీరగానే మృత్యువాతపడటం. ప్రతి ప్రాణికీ మరణమున్నది. ఎప్పుడో ఒకప్పుడు ప్రతివారూ మరణించాలి.
అపమృత్యువు అంటే అనుకోకుండా, ఆయువు తీరకుండానే మరణించటం, నీటి గండము, వాహనగండము. ఇలాంటి వాటివల్ల అంటే ప్రమాదాలు, యుద్ధాలు, భూకంపాలు, వరదలవల్ల మృత్యువు కలుగుతుంది.
వరమేశ్వరుణ్ణి నమ్మినవాడికి మృత్యువుండదు. వేదంలో 'మహాదేవుని తెలుసుకున్నవాడు మృత్యువును జయిస్తున్నాడు' అని చెప్పబడింది.
లోకంలో పుట్టిన ప్రతి ప్రాణీ మరణించి తీరాలి కదా ? మరి మృత్యువును ఏ రకంగా జయిస్తాడు ? అని సందేహము కలగవచ్చు. ఇక్కడ విషయం ఏమిటంటే పుట్టిన ప్రతి ప్రాణీ తప్పనిసరిగా మరణిస్తుంది. కానీ పుట్టుకే లేని వారికి మరణం లేదు. కాబట్టి అసలు పుట్టనేలేదు అనుకోండి. అప్పుడు మరణమే ఉండదుకదా. ఈ రకంగా మరణాన్ని జయించినట్లే కదా. మరణాన్ని జయించడం అంటే మల్లి పుట్టుక లేదా జన్మ అవసరం లేని స్థాయికి చేరడం.
జన్మ లేకుండా ఉండాలంటే ఏం చెయ్యాలి ? ముక్తి రావాలి. జీవాత్మని పరమాత్మతో ఏకం చెయ్యాలి. అంటే శరీరం విడిచిపెట్టె సమయంలో దాని పైన వ్యామోహం ఉండకూడదు. నేను వేరు శరీరం వేరు అనే భావనతో దాన్ని తృణంగా భావించి విడిచి పెట్టాలి. అప్పుడు పునర్జన్మ ఉండదు. దీనికి జ్ఞానం కావాలి. వైరాగ్యం కావాలి. సర్వవ్యాధి ప్రశమని నామంలో వివరించినట్లు అమ్మను ప్రార్ధిస్తే ఆవిడ జ్ఞాన వైరాగ్యాలు ప్రసాదిస్తుంది.
అందుకే అన్నపూర్ణాష్టకంలో శంకరాచార్యులవారు
అన్నపూర్ణే ! సదాపూర్ణే ! శంకరప్రాణవల్లభే !
జ్ఞానవైరాగ్య సిద్యర్థం భిక్షాం దేహి చ పార్వతి !
అన్నపూర్ణే ! సదాపూర్ణే ! శంకరప్రాణవల్లభే !
జ్ఞానవైరాగ్య సిద్యర్థం భిక్షాం దేహి చ పార్వతి !
అంటూ జ్ఞానవైరాగ్యాలు ప్రసాదించమని అమ్మని వేడుకుంటున్నారు. ఈ విధంగా ఆవిడ తన పిల్లలకు జ్ఞానవైరాగ్యాలు ఇచ్చి ముక్తిని ప్రసాదిస్తుంది. అందుచేత 'సర్వమృత్యునివారిణీ' అనబడుతుంది.
In this world, one that has a birth date will have a death date. Death is of two types. 1. Natural death 2. Accidental death
Natural death - Every body has a predefined lifetime. Death happening after passing the lifetime is natural death
Accidental death - It is death caused due to accident. Before the lifetime of the body.
Those who believe in Parameswara have no death. In vedas, it is described that 'Those who know Mahadeva are overcoming over death"
If everything that has a birth date has a death date, then how can a few overcome death? The hidden meaning of overcoming death is to avoid re-birth. Because you are born, you will die. But if you don't have to take birth again, then you will never die again. That's how you overcome death.
To avoid re-birth, you need to realize that you are the Atma and not the perishable body. At your last breath, you should be able to shun all your worldly bonds (including your body) and merge with Paramatma. Then you will not take a re-birth. For that one needs superior knowledge of Paramatma. By praying Divine mother as explained in sarwa vyadhi prasamani one can attain the divine knowledge.
Sri Adi Shankara prayed Divine Mother like this in Annapura ashtaka
Annapurne! Sadapurne! Shankapranavallabhe!
Gnana vairagya sidhyardham bhiksham dehicha paravati!
"O Mother! I need the superior divine knowledge to escape this cycle of birth and death. Please give it to me"
