విశ్వం ధారయతీతి తథా
విశ్వమును ధరించునది. అమ్మ. సకల జగత్తులకు కారణభూతురాలు. వాటికి ఆధారమైనది. వాటిని ధరించేది. కాబట్టి విశ్వధారిణీ అనబడుతోంది. మహాప్రళయం సంభవించినప్పుడు ఈ విశ్వాలన్నింటినీ తన గర్భంలో ధరిస్తుంది.
కాబట్టి విశ్వధారిణీ అనబడుతుంది.
Vishwam dhaarayatheethi tadhaa
Divine mother encapsulates the entire universe inside her. She is the base and reason for all this creation. Hence she is called Vishwadhaarinee. Vishwa means universe, the whole creation. Dhaarini means the one who wears it or one who carries it.
