ఈ అనాహత చక్రంలో ఉండే వామదేవి యొక్క మంత్రంలో శక్తి బీజము, కీలకము అన్నీ రకార సంకేతాలే. కాబట్టి రాకిని అని పిలువబడుతుంది. యోగినీన్యాసంలో

హృత్పద్మే భానుపత్రే ద్వివదనలసితాం దంష్ట్రీనీం శ్యామవర్ణాం
అక్షం శూలం కపాలం డమరుక మపి భుజై ధారయంతీం త్రినేత్రాం
రక్తస్థాం కాళరాత్రి ప్రభృతి పరివృతాం స్నిగ్ధభుకైకసత్తాం
శ్రీమద్వీరేంద్రవంద్యా మభిమతఫలదాం రాకినీం భావయామః ||

హృదయస్థానంలో ఉండే అనాహత పద్మము పన్నెండు దళాలు కలిగి హేమవర్ణంతో ప్రకాశిస్తుంది. ఇది వాయుతత్వాత్మికమైనది. దీని కర్ణికలో రాకినీ దేవత రెండు ముఖములు, మూడు నేత్రములు, కోరలు కలిగి నాలుగుచేతులయందు అక్షమాల, శూలము, కపాలము, డమరుకము ధరించి నల్లనిరంగులో ఉంటుంది. ఈమెకు స్నిగ్దాన్నము నందు మక్కువ ఎక్కువ. క కారము నుంచి ఈ కారము వరకు గల పేర్లతో పన్నెండు శక్తులు ఆ దేవిని పర్యవేష్టించి ఉంటారు. ఈ దేవత మహాపండితులతోను, జ్ఞానులతోను, శ్రీవిద్యాదురంధరులతోనూ ఉపాసించబడుతుంది.

శంకర భగవత్పాదులవారు తమ సౌందర్య లహరిలోని 38వ శ్లోకంలో అనాహత పద్మాన్ని వివరిస్తూ

సమున్మీలత్సం విత్కమల మకరందైక రసికం
భజేహంసద్వన్ద్వం కిమపి మహతాం మానసచరం
యదాలాపా దష్టాదశ గుణిత విద్యాపరిణతిః
ర్యదాదత్తే దోషాద్గుణ మఖిల మధ్భ్యః పయ ఇవ

అనాహతచక్రంలో శివవక్తులు ఇద్దరూ రాజహంసల రూపంలో ఉంటారు. హంసరూపము అంటే 26వ తత్త్వము. ఈ హంసద్వంద్వమువల్లనే అష్టాదశవిద్యలూ ఉద్భవించినాయి. ఈ తత్వాన్ని సేవించేవారు అష్టాదశవిద్యలయందు ప్రావీణ్యులౌతారు. షట్చక్రనిరూపణంలో “అనాహతపద్మము యొక్క కర్ణికలో షట్కోణాకృతిగా ధూమ్రవర్ణంలో వాయుమండలమున్నది. దీని బీజము 'యం' దీని వాహనము లేడి అని చెప్పబడింది.

సంతానోపనిషత్తులో “అనాహతపద్మములో వామదేవికి రెండు వదనాలున్నాయి. గర్భస్థ పిండానికి మొదటి నెలలో నోరు ఏర్పడగా, రెండవనెలలో ముక్కు ఏర్పడుతుంది. ఈ రెండూ వదనాలు. అందుచేతనే వామదేవికి రెండు ముఖాలున్నాయని చెప్పబడింది. ఈ మాసములో నేతితో తడిపిన అన్నము తల్లీ బిడ్డలకు మంచి ఆహారము.

In the mantra of Vamadevi in Anahata Chakra, Shakti, Bijam and Keelakam are all symbols of 'Ra'. So she is called Rakini. It is said like this in yogininyasam

Hr̥tpadmē bhānupatrē dvivadanalasitāṁ danṣṭrīnīṁ śyāmavarṇāṁ

akṣaṁ śūlaṁ kapālaṁ ḍamaruka mapi bhujai dhārayantīṁ trinētrāṁ

raktasthāṁ kāḷarātri prabhr̥ti parivr̥tāṁ snigdhabhukaikasattāṁ

śrīmadvīrēndravandyā mabhimataphaladāṁ rākinīṁ bhāvayāmaḥ ||

The Anahata Padma/chakra in the heart position has twelve branches and shines with golden luster. It represents the element of air. In its atrium, the presiding deity Rakini has two faces, three eyes and fangs and is black in color wearing Akshamala, Shulam, Kapala and Damaruka in four hands. She is very fond of rice mixed with ghee. The goddess is surrounded by twelve Shaktis with names ranging from 'Ka' to 'Ee' . This deity is worshiped by great scholars, Yogis and experts of Sri Vidya.

Anāhatādhiṣṭāna dēvatārākinī yukta rudrasvarūpiṇyambā

śrīpādukāṁ pūjayāmi tarpayāmi namaḥ

Saint Shankaracharya said like this in the 38th verse of his Soundarya Lahari

Samunmīlatsaṁ vitkamala makarandaika rasikaṁ

bhajēhansadvandvaṁ kimapi mahatāṁ mānasacaraṁ

yadālāpā daṣṭādaśa guṇita vidyāpariṇatiḥ

ryadādattē dōṣādguṇa makhila madhbhyaḥ paya iva

In the Anahata Chakra, both the Shiva and Shakti are in the form of Rajahamsa (Royal Swan). Swan is the 26th Tattva. All the 18 types of knowledge emerged from these two swans. Those who worship them become proficient in all this knowledge. According to the Shatchakranirupana, “In the atrium of the Anahatapadma there is Vayumandala in the shape of a hexagon in the color of smoke. Its beeja(seed) is 'yam' and its vehicle is Deer.

It is said like this in Santanopanishat "Vamadevi in Anahatapadma has two faces . A fetus develops a mouth in the first month and a nose in the second month. These represent the two faces. That is why Vamadevi is said to have two faces. Rice soaked with ghee is good food for mother and child in these months.
