ప్రభా అంటే అణిమాది ఆవరణ దేవతలు. అమ్మ ఆణిమాది ఆవరణ దేవతలతో ఆవరించబడినది.
మన అమ్మ కాంతినిప్రసరింపచేసే సూర్యుచంద్రులకే కాంతులనిస్తుంది. భైరవ యామళంలో చెప్పినట్లుగా
జ్యోతిరూపాపరాకారా యస్యాదే హోద్భవాశ్శివే !
కిరణా శ్చసహస్రం చ ద్విసహస్రంచ చ లక్షకమ్
కోటిరర్బుదమేతేషాం పసంఖ్యా న విద్యతే.
జ్యోతిరూపమైనటువంటి అమె దేహము నుంచి కోట్లకొలది కిరణాలు ప్రకాశిస్తున్నాయి. ఆ కిరణాలకు లెక్కలేదు. అవి అనంతమైనవి. వాటినుంచి
అష్టోత్తరశతంవహ్నేః షోడశోత్తరశతంరవేః |
షట్రింశత దుత్తరశతం చంద్రస్యకిరణా శ్శివే ! ||
108 కిరణములను అగ్ని, 116 కిరణములు సూర్యుడు, 136 కిరణములు చంద్రుడు గ్రహించారు. ఇవి మొత్తం 360 కిరణాలు. వీటివల్లనే పగలు రాత్రి కలుగుతున్నాయి. కాలచక్రం తిరుగుతోంది. అని చెప్పబడింది. కాబట్టి పరమేశ్వరి అంటే తేజోమయమైన కాంతిపుంజము.

ఆ పరమేశ్వరి అణిమాది అష్టసిద్ధులచేతను, విద్యాస్వరూపమగు వశివ్యాది వాగ్దేవతలు చేతను ఆవరించబడి ఉన్నది.
బహు ప్రభావముగల కుండలినీశక్తియే ప్రభావతి. ఆధారచక్రం నుంచి షట్చక్రాలను గ్రంథిత్రయాన్ని ఛేదించుకుని సహస్రారం చేరుతుంది. ఈ త్రోవలో ఆజ్ఞాచక్రం చేరినప్పుడు ఆ కుండలినీశక్తిని జ్యోతిష్మతీ, ప్రభావతి అని కీర్తిస్తారు.
Prabha means light. The glow of Divine mother surpasses the brilliance of several crores of sun and moon.
Prabha means Animadi avarana devatas. Divine mother is surrounded by these avarana devatas.
Divine mother is the source of light for the light emitting sun and moon. As stated in Bhairava Yamalam
jyōtirūpāparākārā yasyādē hōdbhavāśśivē!
Kiraṇā ścasahasraṁ ca dvisahasran̄ca ca lakṣakam
kōṭirarbudamētēṣāṁ pasaṅkhyā na vidyatē.
Millions of rays are shining from her body which is like a star. One cannot count them. They are infinite. From them
Aṣṭōttaraśatanvahnēḥ ṣōḍaśōttaraśatanravēḥ |
ṣaṭrinśata duttaraśataṁ candrasyakiraṇā śśivē! ||
108 rays are absorbed by fire, 116 rays by sun and 136 rays by moon. In total these are 360 rays. Day and night are caused by them. The wheel of time is moves due to them. Hence Divine mother is called as Prabhavathi.

Divine mother is surrounded by the ashtasiddhas and Vasivyadi Vagdevatas. Prabhavati is the multi-effectual Kundalini Shakti. It reaches Sahasrara by breaking through the six chakras beginning from the Aadhar Chakra. When it reaches the Ajnachakra in this path, the Kundalini Shakti is called as Jyotishmati and Prabhavati.
