శోభనం మంగళం అస్యాహ్
శోభనమైన మంగళము కలది. అమ్మ నిత్య సుమంగళి. ఆమె భర్త మృత్యుంజయుడు. మృత్యువుకే మృత్యువు.
అమ్మ శ్రీవిద్యా మంత్రదీక్ష తీసుకున్న స్త్రీమూర్తులందు ఉంటుంది. అందుకే సుమంగళి అనబడుతుంది.
మంగళము అంటే బ్రహ్మము. అమ్మ పరబ్రహ్మ స్వరూపం. అందుకే సుమంగళి అనబడుతుంది.
అశుభాని నిరాచష్టే తనోతి శుభసంతతిం
స్మృతి మాత్రేన యత్పుంసాం బ్రహ్మ తన్మంగళమ్ విదుః
అమ్మను స్మరించిన వారి సకల అశుభాలూ తొలగిపోతాయి. విగ్రహాన్ని నమ్ముకున్న వారిని గ్రహాలు ఏమీ చేయలేవు అని సామెత. ఎటువంటి గ్రహ దోషాలున్నా అమ్మ అనుగ్రహం ఉంటె చాలు. అవన్నీ తొలగిపోతాయి.
Shobhanam mangalam asyaa saah
She who is very auspicious. Divine mother is wife of Maha kameshwara. He does not have death. He is the death of death.
Divine mother is present in all those women who had Sri Vidya initiation. Hence she is called Sumangali.
Mangalam means Parabrahma. That is Divine Mother. Hence she is called Sumangali.
Ashubhaani niraachashte thanothi shubhasantatim
smruthi maatrena yatpumsaam brahma thanmangalam viduh
Those who worship Divine mother are always protected from any kind of inauspiciousness. There is a saying that those who believe in God are never effected by the bad effects of planets (in astrology)
