Dakshina means a knowledgeable person. Adakshina means ignorant people. Here knowledgeable means those who seeks Paramaatma and do antah puja(internal puja). Ignorant means one who seeks material benefits by doing baahya puja (External worship). Mother is worshipped by both of them. She shows her mercy on anybody who seeks her. She does not differentiate.
Dakshna also means offerings made to the Guru after performing a yagna or puja. Divine mother is pleased by offering dakshina to the Guru.
దక్షిణ అంటే జ్ఞానులు. అదక్షిణ అంటే అజ్ఞానులు. వీరిద్దరిచేతా అర్చించబడేది. ఇక్కడ జ్ఞానులు అంటే అంతఃపూజతో ఆత్మ దర్శనం కోసం ప్రయత్నించే వారు. మోక్షకాముకులు. అజ్ఞానులు అంటే కామితార్థాలకై బాహ్యపూజలు చేసే వారు. అమ్మ అందరినీ కరుణిస్తుంది. ఆవిడకి భేదభావం ఉండదు. ఎవరు ఏమి కోరుకుంటే వారికి అది ఇస్తుంది.
దక్షిణ అంటే పూజ/యజ్ఞము పూర్తి అయిన తరువాత గురువుకు ఇచ్చేది. క్రతువు పూర్తి అయిన తరువాత దక్షిణ ఇచ్చి గురువును సంతోషింపచేయాలి. అప్పుడే క్రతువు ఫలిస్తుంది.
