వేదాలు అనగా ఋగ్వేదము, యజుర్వేదము, సామవేదము. వీటిలోని విషయాన్ని త్రయీవిద్య అంటారు. దీని సారాంశమే అమ్మ లలితమ్మ.
అకారాదిస్సామవేదో ఋగ్వేదశ్చ తదాదికః |
యజుర్వేద ఇకారాది స్తేషాం సంయోగత శ్శుచిః ||
ఋక్, స్సామవేదాలు అకారంతో ప్రారంభంకాగా యజుర్వేదం ఇకారంతో ప్రారంభ మవుతుంది. ఈ మూడింటి స్వరూపమే లలితమ్మ. కాబట్టి త్రయీ అనబడుతుంది.

ఋక్, స్సామవేదాలు అకారంతో ప్రారంభంకాగా యజుర్వేదం ఇకారంతో ప్రారంభ మవుతుంది. ఈ మూడింటి స్వరూపమే లలితమ్మ. కాబట్టి త్రయీ అనబడుతుంది.
వేదాలలో చెప్పిన విషయాలకి లౌకికంగానూ, సాంకేతికంగానూ, ఆధ్యాత్మికంగానూ కూడా రహస్యార్ధముంటుంది. అందుకే వాటిని త్రయి అని అంటారు. ఉదాహరణకు రామాయణం తీసుకోండి. భౌతికంగా లోకంలో రాముడు అనే నరుడు ఉన్నాడు. ఆయన ధర్మాచరణ చేసి ధనుర్విద్య నేర్చుకుని రావణసంహారం చేసాడు. ఆధ్యాత్మికంగా చూస్తే మన శరీరంలోని ఆత్మే రాముడు. అహంకారమే వాలి. కామాది అరిషడ్వార్గాలు రావణుడు. సాధకుడు ఆత్మ సాక్షాత్తాకారం పొందటానికి చేసే ప్రయత్నమే వాలి మరియు రావణ సంహారం. సాంకేతికంగా చూస్తే రామాయణంలో ఎన్నో గొప్ప సాంకేతిక విషయాలను చెప్పడం జరిగింది. అసలు భూమి మీదకి నీరు ఎలా వచ్చింది? ఆ నీరు వచ్చినపుడు ఎం జరిగింది అనే విషయం గంగావతారణంలో చెప్పారు. దీనిగురించి క్షుణ్ణంగా వ్యోమకేశీ అనే నామంలో తెలుసుకుందాం. సూర్యమండలంలోని విషయాలు ఆదిత్య హృదయంలో చెప్పారు. వీటన్నిటి సారము లలితమ్మే. అందుకే త్రయి అన్నారు.
Vedas i,e, Rig, Yajur and Sama vedas. The essence of all these vedas is called thrayee. That is Divine mother Lalitha.
Akaaraadhissamavedo rigvedascha tadhadhikah |
yajurveda ikaaraadhi stheshaam samyogatassuchih ||
Rig and Sama vedas start with 'Aa'. Yajur veda starts with 'Ee'. Divine mother is represented by 'Aim' which is nothing but the essence of these three. Hence, she is called thrayee.
Concepts explained in Vedas have relevance in all the three planes of existence i,e social, scientific and spiritual. Let's take Ramayanam for example. There is a human called Rama. He practiced Dharma. Learnt techniques of archery and killed Ravana in a bloody war. In spiritual plane, Rama represents Atma. Vali represents ego. Ravana represents the six vices. Overcoming ego and union with God is like war with Vali and Ravana. In scientific plane, concepts of how water came onto the earth are explained in Gangavataranam. We will learn more details of this in the name Vyomakeshi. Things about Suryamandala are explained in Aaditya hrudayam. Divine mother is the essence of all these. Hence, she is called Thrayee.
