వివిక్తము అంటే లోకానికి దూరంగా అని అర్ధం. ధ్యానం చేసుకునే వారు భౌతికంగానూ మానసికంగానూ కూడా లోకానికి దూరంగా ఉండాలి. జనసంచారం లేని పవిత్రమైన ఏకాంత ప్రదేశం వెతుక్కుని అక్కడ ధ్యానం చేయడం ద్వారా భౌతిక దూరం పాటించవచ్చు.
మానసిక దూరం పాటించాలంటే లోకైక విషయాలపై రాగ ద్వేషాలను వదిలెయ్యాలి. అప్పుడే మనస్సు పూర్తిగా పరమాత్మ వైపు తిరుగుతుంది. అటువంటి మనస్సులో అమ్మ స్థిరంగా నెలకొని ఉంటుంది.
Viviktha means Solitude. One who wishes to meditate upon paramaatma should seek solitude both physically and mentally. They should find a place that is calm and out of reach to common public. The place should be auspicious. Then they get solitude physically.
They should shun any kind of attachment to worldly things. Only then the mind will be able to concentrate on Paramaatma. Such minds become abode for Divine Mother.
