బుధులచేత అర్చించబడునది. బుధులు అంటే పండితులు జ్ఞానులు అని అర్ధం.
భగవానుడు గీతలో చెప్పినట్లుగా
చతుర్విధా భజంతే మాం జనా సృకృతినోర్జున |
ఆర్తో జిజ్ఞాసు రర్ధార్థి జ్ఞానీ చ భరత్నభ ||
అర్జునా ! చోరులవల్ల, వ్యాధులవల్ల ఆపదలు పొందినవారు, కుతూహలం కలిగిన వారు, ధనాన్ని కోరేవారు, నా తత్త్వాన్ని తెలియగోరువాడు వీరంతా నన్ను అర్చిస్తారు.
ఇక్కడ పండితులు, జ్ఞానులేకాక అనేకమంది అనేక రకాలయిన కోరికలతో అమ్మని అర్చిస్తారు. అయితే ఐహికవాంఛాపరులంతా బాహ్యపూజలు చేస్తే, జ్ఞానులు అంతఃపూజ చేస్తారు. ఈ రకంగా వీరు పరమాత్మ సాయుజ్యం కోరి ఆమెను అర్చిస్తారు
She is worshipped by the greatest scholars of any time. 'Budha' means people with high intellect. 'Archana' means worship
It is said like this in Bhagavadgita
Chaturvidhaa bhajante maa janaa srukruthinorjunaa |
Aatrho jignaasu rardhaarthee gnaanaee cha bhartarshabhaa ||
Hey Arjuna! Four types of people seeks me. They are:
1. Aartho - The one who are in need worships me for help
2. Gignaasu - Those who try to know me out of curiosity
3. Artharthi - Those who worship me for material gains
4. Gnaani - These are intellectuals and scholars. They seek me for moksha(liberation)
But God looks at all of them equally, He gives them what they seek of Him.
