సృష్టి ఆరంభం కాకముందు ఆ పరబ్రహ్మ "నేను అనేకములు కాదలచుకున్నాను. నేను ఈ సృష్టిని చేస్తాను అని సంకల్పించాడు(కామము, కర్మ కలిస్తే సంకల్పం). అందుచేత అతడు కామేశ్వరుడైనాడు. అతనిలో ఒక భాగం శక్తి అయి సృష్టి కార్యం జరిగింది. ఆ కామేశ్వరుని రూపమే శరీరముగా గలది కామరూపిణీ. అన్ని కోరికలు తీర్చేది. జగత్తును నిర్మించాలనే కోరికతో పుట్టిన ఇచ్ఛాశక్తి స్వరూపురాలు. భక్తులు తనను ఏ పేరుతో పిలిస్తే ఆ పేరుతో పలుకుతుంది. ఏ రూపంతో ఆరాధిస్తే ఆ రూపంతో దర్శనమిస్తుంది. అందుచేత కామరూపిణీ.
జగత్తు - జాయతే గచ్ఛతే ఇతి జగత్. వస్తూ పోతూ ఉండేది ఈ జగత్తు. పరబ్రహ్మ సంకల్పం వలన వచ్చిన ఈ జగత్తు కొంత కాలం తరువాత మళ్ళీ ఆ పరబ్రహ్మలోనే లీనమైపోతుంది. పరబ్రహ్మ మాత్రం చెక్కు చెదరకుండా అలాగే ఉంటాడు. ఈ వస్తూ పోతూ ఉండే జగత్తు నిజం కాదు. అది కేవలం ఆయన లీల. దీనిని తెలుసుకోవడమే మోక్షం.
There is no jagat before the creation begun. There will be no jagat after the creation ends. Nevertheless, parabrahma from whom the jagat comes and goes stays as is. The jagat is a mere play of the parabrahma. It is not the truth. The eternal Parabrahma is the only truth. Knowing this is Moksha(Liberation). Kameswara represent the desire of the Parabrahma to create. Kamaroopini is the she who has Kameswara as her body. She reveals herself in whichever form you seek her.
Jagat - The one that comes and goes is called Jagat. It comes from the sankalpa of parabrahma. Sankalpa = desire + effort. Desire = Kama. Eshwara = Lord. Hence Kameshwara represents the desire of Parabrahma to create. Shakti is a part of parabrahma that takes care of the creation.
