686. Rajyadaayani

రాజ్యమును ప్రసాదించునది. స్వర్గాధిపత్యము నిచ్చునది.

సృష్టి ఆరంభంలో త్రిమూర్తులను ఆవిర్భవింపచేసి వారికి సృష్టిస్థితిలయాలను అప్పగించింది.

బ్రహ్మకు - సత్యలోకాధిపత్యము
విష్ణువుకు - వైకుంఠాధిపత్యము
రుద్రునకు - కైలాసాధిపత్యము

ఇంద్రునకు - స్వర్గాధిపత్యము
కుబేరునకు - ధనాధిపత్యము, అలకాపురి నగరాన్ని
అగ్నికి - తేజోవతి నగరాన్ని
యముడికి- - సంయమని నగరాన్ని
నైరుతికి - కృష్ణాంగన నగరాన్ని
వరుణుడికి - శ్రద్ధావతి నగరాన్ని
వాయువుకు - గంధవతి నగరాన్ని
ఈశానుడికి - యశోవతి నగరాన్ని

సప్తశతిలో సురధుడు అనే రాజు శత్రువులవల్ల సర్వస్వాన్నీ పొగొట్టుకున్నాడు. అలాగే సమాధి అనే వైశ్యుడు భార్యాపుత్రల స్వార్ధం వల్ల సంపద అంతా పోగొట్టుకుని అరణ్యాలపాలయ్యాడు. అక్కడ వారికి సుమేధుడు అనే మహర్షి దేవీ మాహాత్మ్యాన్ని పూర్తిగా వివరించాడు. దేవీ మాహాత్మ్యము ఆసాంతం విన్న వారు కూడా ఋషి సలహామీద కొంతకాలం పరమేశ్వరిని అర్చించారు. అంతట ఆ దేవి ప్రత్యక్షమై 'మీకు ఏంకావాలో కోరుకోండి' అంటుంది. సురధుడు తన రాజ్యం తనకు కావాలి అంటాడు. పరమేశ్వరి అనుగ్రహించింది. సురధుడు మళ్ళీ రాజైనాడు. ఈ రకంగా పరమేశ్వరి తన భక్తులకు వారి అర్హతలను బట్టి రాజ్యాన్ని ప్రసాదిస్తుంది. అంతేకాదు దేవీ భాగవతంలో ఒక చిన్నకధ ఉన్నది. పూర్వకాలంలో హిమాలయ ప్రాంతంలో చక్రవాకపు పక్షి ఒకటి ఉండేది. అది దేశాల వెంబడి తిరుగుతూ, ఒకనాడు కాశీపట్టణానికి వచ్చింది. ఆ రోజు దానికి ఆహారం దొరకలేదు. ఆహారం కోసం కాశీనగరమంతా తిరిగింది. ఉపయోగంలేదు. చివరకు అన్నపూర్ణాదేవి ఆలయంలో ఏమైనా ఆహారం దొరుకుతుందేమోనని అక్కడికి వెళ్ళింది. ఆలయమంతా మూడుసార్లు కలయదిరిగింది. తనకు తెలియకుండానే మూడు ప్రదక్షిణాలు చేసింది. అపరాహ్నమైనప్పటికీ ఆహారం దొరకక, వెతుకుతూ తనకు తెలియకుండానే పరమేశ్వరికి ప్రదక్షిణాలు చేసింది. అనాలోచితంగా ఉపవాసం కూడా ఉన్నది. కాబట్టి ఆ ఫలం దానికి దక్కింది. తరువాత కొంతకాలానికి అది చచ్చి స్వర్గానికి వెళ్ళి అక్కడ సుఖాలనుభవించి కర్మశేషం అనుభవించటానికి కాశీ నగరానికి రాజుగా పుట్టింది. ఈ రకంగా చేసే కర్మ, అర్చన తక్కువైనా దానికి ఫలితం ఎక్కువగా ఇచ్చేది. రాజ్యాలను ఇచ్చేది ఆ పరమేశ్వరి. అందుకే ఆమె రాజ్యదాయినీ అనబడుతోంది.

She gives kingdoms like Vaikuntha, Kailasa, Swarga(Heaven) etc

At the beginning of creation, she gave Sathya loka to Brahma, Vaikuntha to Vishnu and Kailasa to Rudra.

Indra got swarga (Heaven)
Kubera got the town of Alakapuri and mastery of wealth
Agni(Fire god) got the town Tejovathi
Yama got the town Samyamani
Nairuthi got town of Krishnangana
Varuna got town of Shraddhavathi
Vayu got town of Gandhavathi
Eshana got town of Yashovathi

Below is a story from Sapthasathi:

King Suradha lost his kingdom and possessions due to enemies. A businessman Samaadhi lost all his wealth due to betrayal by his kith and kin. They both went to forest and met saint Sumedha. They learnt the greatness of Divine Mother from Sumedha and worshipped her for sometime. Then Divine Mother asked Suradha, "what do you want". He said, "I want my kingdom back". Then she gave his kingdom back.

There used to be a bird (chakravaka) in himalayas. It was wandering in the sky for food and reached the town of Kashi. There it searched for food everywhere. It circled around temple thrice with empty stomach(fasting). Looking at the plight of the bird, Divine Mother gave it the virtue of fasting and pradakshina. That helped the bird to reach heaven after death. After enjoying the pleasure of Heaven for some time, it took brith as the king of Kashi.

Like this, the result of worshipping Divine Mother will be far more than the effort put for worshipping.
