సమస్త జగత్తులనూ సృష్టించేది కాబట్టి ఆదిశక్తి. ఇచ్ఛాశక్తి స్వరూపురాలు. జగత్సృష్టికి కారణమైనది. సకలసృష్టికీ కారణమైన మొదటి శక్తి, మాయాశబలితరూపము. ఈ జగత్తును సృష్టించాలి అనుకుని పరమేశ్వరుడు తనను తాను రెండుగా విభజించుకున్నాడు. ఆ సమయంలో పరబ్రహ్మ నుంచి బయటకు వచ్చినదే శక్తి. అదే మాయాస్వరూపము. నామరూపాత్మకమైన జగత్తు అంతా ఆ శక్తినుంచే ఆవిర్భవించింది. అన్ని శక్తులు దానిలోనే ఉన్నాయి. కాబట్టి అది మూలశక్తి. అన్నింటికీ చైతన్యరూపమైన ముఖ్యప్రాణశక్తి, ఐశ్వర్యప్రదాయిని అయిన లక్ష్మికి, విజ్ఞాన ప్రదాయిని అయిన సరస్వతికి కూడా మూలశక్తి అదే ఆదిశక్తి.
Divine mother is the reason for this entire creation. She is the small lamp of light that glows in this dark aura of ignorance. The original source of light that shatters the darkness of ignorance when one practices yoga. Paramatma thought of creation and divided himself into Shiva and Shakti. That Shakti is the first energy in this creation. All other energies came from it. The vital life force behind everything. She is the force behind goddess Lakshmi who gives wealth and goddess Saraswathi who gives knowledge.
